To mark the centenary year of British Vogue, Vogue 100: A Century of Style has opened today at the National Portrait Gallery, featuring fashion, beauty and portrait photography from the last 100 years. Open until May 22nd 2016, visitors will be able to see for the first time more than 280 prints from the Vogue archive.

The work of world-class photographers including Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Corinne Day, Patrick Demarchelier, Nick Knight, to name a few, will adorn the walls alongside iconic fashion designers whom have defined the looks of the century, including Dior, Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen. Editor-in-chief of Vogue UK, Alexandra Shulman, states "Anybody interested in photography, fashion, fame and magazines will find this an unmissable experience.”
